SB 169

On September 23, 2021, Governor Newsom signed Senate Bill 169 (SB 169), the postsecondary education budget cleanup trailer bill, which appropriates $2.0 billion, for the Higher Education Student Housing Grant Program for CSU, UC, and CCC systems. The program, with the purpose of providing affordable, low-cost housing options for public postsecondary students in California, will provide one-time grants planning and construction funding. Join Mylene Tabing of HPI Architecture, along with representatives from the San Diego Community College District, Palomar Community College District, and Southwestern Community College District as she moderates a discussion around student housing at their campuses.

It is ultimately up to PE licensing boards/ AACE / etc. whether they will accept our education or not, but, if your attendance is reported with your email, we can make sure you have a validated statement of education hours.
