“THE NECESSITY OF SCHEDULERS ON ALL CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS”
A good construction project starts with a solid work plan. The plan is presented in detail through a schedule requiring structure, task, sequence, and duration. In order to reduce risk and build assurance of a reasonable work plan, the schedule needs analysis for both technical structure and the overall work plan needs a cash flow. Between the planned cash flow and the technical schedule structure, an ongoing review can alleviate an errant execution plan while an earned value analysis can identify a delay risk early. Both processes work together to understand project health and progress. During this webinar we will discuss the following topics:
- Why have schedulers on a construction project?
- Baseline schedule review
- Monthly progress update reviews
- Earned value and earned schedule
Speakers:
-
Stefan Toth, P.E. (Senior Scheduler, Arcadis)
-
Rick Stassi (Scheduling Manager, Kitchell)
