Our host will present case studies and best management practices to resolve potential ADA issues during the preconstruction and construction phases of projects including BMPs specific to buildings, site improvements, and pedestrian facilities in public rights-of-way. The program is intended to increase the knowledge and skills of inspectors, construction managers, project engineers and other A/E/C professionals regarding accessibility in the built environment.

Glenn Dea, AIA, ADAC, APAC-BE, CASp, PSOMAS

Glenn is a licensed architect in the states of California and Utah and an ICC-certified accessibility inspector/plans examiner with more than 35 years of architecture and construction experience. Since 2001, Glenn has focused on compliance with federal and state accessibility standards, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) transition plan services, and accessible design covering buildings, sites, and pedestrian facilities in public rights-of-way. His work has encompassed accessibility evaluations, plan reviews, and code analyses for numerous corporate, education, and governmental clients.
